My Heart Will Go On

Everytime I look at the news in the morning

I wonder if they have anything

To do with our country so far away

But still in my memory night and day

How much more love to Vietnam my heart can bring ?

Every Sunday I go to Buddhist temple to pray

For divine guidance and keeping all bad tempers at bay

Listening to the monk preaching in Vietnamese

Like all coreligionists, I feel at peace

How many more words do I have enough to say ?

Seasons change and Spring time is coming

The Black April fall with the freedom succumbing

For 40 years our country still not suffered enough ?

Oh ! Devil winners and their systematic bluff !

To a civilised culture, this curse is not becoming ?

Everytime I look and ask myself in the mirror

Should I be, as a Vietnamese, sadder or cheerer ?

Before some known bad reputations here and there

….But as long as I can take into my lungs some air

My heart will go on and my love for Vietnam becomes dearer

không nguôi về nguời yêu. Hình ảnh trong tim thì mãi mãi

mà ai đó còn trên cõi đời này không ?

về lyrics của bài hát chăng?

Với niềm đau Tháng Tư Đen về, những câu hỏi Việt Nam còn hay đã

mất, mình sẽ trả lời sao đây ? Vẫn biết tình thương Tổ Quốc bao giờ

cũng được tôn kính thiêng liêng, nhưng bài ca cũng đã làm liên tưởng

đến những nét trữ tình khăng khít của người bỏ xứ ra đi !
